We're preparing the new library for opening Many details go into a new library -- not just books!
Entrance of the new library located at 600 NE 136th Ave., next to Firstenburg Community Center. Book-return slots -- which are OPEN now -- are visible to the right of the entrance.
Photo of comfortable seating area near audio-visual materials area, looking toward "parent perch" around children's area and, to the left in the background, the outdoor courtyard built around a large fir tree.
Photo of teen room prior to moving in furniture and books.
Staff try out the good seating and lighting in the fireplace area, which will also have an area rug and an oil painting above the fireplace, made possible by a generous gift.
