Board of Trustees to set books-by-mail cutbacks Feb. 9 As part of continuing efforts to bring expenses in line with a significantly reduced 2009 budget, the FVRL Board will take action Monday, Feb. 9 at Three Creeks Community Library on severe reductions to the district's books-by-mail services. Tax-time help at the library This is the 41st year that AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will be providing free tax assistance at area libraries and other community locations. The program is focused on helping low- and moderate-income taxpayers, with special attention to those age 60 or older. See a listing of locations and hours.
