Down to the last $80,000 needed
for new Battle Ground library

clip art At the Battle Ground State of the City address on Feb. 21, the mayor presented the library district with an oversized ceremonial check for $100,000 to use toward the new library. The terms for use of the funds were later outlined in a contract in early March. This latest addition to the building fund reduces the amount of fundraising left for Friends of Battle Ground Library to $80,000, putting them in the home stretch!

The Friends are selling bricks and naming rights. Details on how to contribute to the building fund can be obtained from Friends President Jane Higgins at (360) 666-1480 or friends@bgcfriends.com.
