Music, Poetry & Writing Poetry Workshop
Vancouver Community Library (in Library Hall) Thursday, June 5, 7:00 p.m. Monthly drop-in workshop for all ages, taught by local poets. Bring pen and paper and come prepared to write and share poems. Led by Rivkah Loewus. Open-Mic Poetry Night Vancouver Community Library Wednesday, June 11, 7:00 p.m. All ages and voices welcome. Those who wish to read are encouraged to arrive by 6:45 p.m. to sign up. Led by Rivkah Loewus. Song Circle Goldendale Community Library Tuesday, June 17, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Join in the fun singing folk songs, reading poetry, telling a story or playing music. All ages welcome.
American Heritage Music: "From Blues to Rock & Roll" White Salmon Valley Community Library Friday, June 20, 7:00 p.m. The ever-changing faces and forms of American music. This finale program in the series will be performed by an ensemble cast from the prior programs. The Stitchery Group Ridgefield Community Library Wednesdays in June from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A free, informal weekly drop-in get-together. Any stitchery-type hobby is welcome including mending projects. Knit-In Vancouver Mall Community Library Wednesdays, June 11 and 25, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Open to anyone who likes to knit or wants to learn. Volunteers will be available to teach and assist. Stitch Wits Vancouver Community Library (in Library Hall) Sunday, June 22, 1:00-3:00 p.m. A drop-in group for knitters and other crafters to work on projects and share techniques. Knitting volunteers are available for assistance. Anything from crochet to quilting is welcome. Scrap yarn available for practice. Sales "Deals on the Deck" Sale

Read a book and watch a movie. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. One month prior to the show, a wide variety of books related to the movie will be on display at the library.
