Natural tips for summertime health
Join naturopathic physician Dr. Zora DeGrandpre for an informative discussion of seasonal health issues including allergies, sunburn, insect bites, poison ivy and much more. Held at Vancouver Community Library on Saturday, July 11 at Noon.

Oregon author Jill Kelly will discuss her book, Sober Truths: The Making of an Honest Woman. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Held at Vancouver Community Library on Wednesday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Lord of the Rings movie marathon
Revisit Middle Earth in this epic showing of the Lord of the Rings movies. Hang out with other “Rings” fans and test your LOTR knowledge. Prizes given. Light refreshments served. Held at the Washougal Community Library three evenings: July 16, 17 and 18 starting at 6 p.m. each night.

Tour Washington's Carnegie Goldendale Community Librarylibraries
A statewide consortium is offering a self-guided heritage driving tour, and you are invited to pick up your "passport" and join in the fun! Our beautiful Goldendale Community Library is included along the tour route. This program was initiated by the Clark County Historical Museum -- see the Tour Web site for complete details. A delectable meal to benefit Goldendale library
Glass Onion Restaurant Friends of Goldendale Library are teaming up with the Glass Onion Restaurant for a special fundraising dinner on Sunday, July 19. Reservations are available for seating between Noon and 8 p.m. Listen to music on the restaurant’s lawn while enjoying delicious contemporary cuisine. The Friends are putting together a silent auction and have assembled many nice items including local art; leave a bid and the highest bidder will be contacted after the dinner. Over half of the dinner price will go to the Friends in support of the library.

Thursday-Friday, July 9-10 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Book prices will be reduced for a "bag sale" on July 11 from 2-3 p.m.

Community Days Sale - Goldendale library
Friday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Find used books, jigsaw puzzles, videos, audio books and more. A pre-sale for Friends members (memberships available at the door) will be held on Thursday, July 9 from 5:30-8 p.m.

Gorge Days Sale - North Bonneville
Saturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A community-wide event. Activities include a Friends of the Library used book sale, a noon summer reading presentation by Steve Taylor and an ice cream social.

Used Book Sale - Three Creeks library
Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Special pre-sale for Friends members from 8-10 a.m. (memberships available at the door).

Harvest Days Sale - Battle Ground library
Friday-Saturday, July 17-18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"Buck a Bag" sale all day Sunday ($1 per bag; bring your own bag).
