photo of Nancy Tessman
Welcome, Nancy Tessman!

Our new executive director, Nancy Tessman, started her work at FVRL on July 16. (That's Nancy on the left in the photo above, getting her FVRL card at the main library on July 17 -- the building's 1-year birthday and Staff Hat Day.) Nancy plans to travel around the district in the next few months and meet as many district residents as possible. If you'd like to tell her about what you think is important for her to focus on in the coming year at FVRL, you can send her a message with "Nancy Tessman" in the subject line to contact@fvrl.org.

You might not immediately think of a connection between car repair and libraries, but in fact FVRL has two terrific resources to help you keep your wheels on the road.

Check out Auto Repair Reference Center and Chilton Auto Repair Library for help with vehicle maintenance and repair.

And if your lawn mower refuses to run this summer, you might find the help you need to fix it in Small Engine Repair Reference Center.
