Nonprofit Resource Center

The Nonprofit Resource Center was established at Vancouver Community Library in 2003 through a collaborative effort of Fort Vancouver Regional Library District, Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation and the Community Foundation, serving Clark, Cowlitz and Skamania Counties. The goal is to support the success of Southwest Washington's not-for-profit organizations.

The Center includes access to the Foundation Directory Online, a licensed database that allows powerful research of grant opportunities from over 90,000 private grantmakers. Foundation Directory Online is available on Electronic Resources computers at all branches of Fort Vancouver Regional Library District.

The Nonprofit Resource Center also provides a collection of Reference print books and journals covering all aspects of philanthropy and non-profit work. Circulating materials may also be located in the library's catalog with subject keywords such as

  • Boards of directors
  • Fund raising
  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Proposal writing
  • Voluntarism management

Information Services staff is available for assistance.
