"The Power of Information"
We are your window to the world! Come in to use the Internet / word processing terminal (it's available free of charge) during library open hours. Another computer accessing the library catalog and subscription databases is located in the lobby between the library and city hall and is available during city hall hours, even when the library is closed.
You have access to not only the materials our the shelves, but also more than 700,000 books housed in branches throughout the rest of the district. Our knowledgeable staff are ready to assist you with your information needs.
You can also peruse documents from Bonneville Power Administration, various local environmental impact studies and information on Strawberry Island (formerly know as Hamilton Island), as well as other items of local interest.
Storytimes for preschool children are held the second Thursdays of the month at 10:30 a.m. Bookmobile service is provided to outlying areas.
