Telephone Information staff are dedicated to helping you with your needs. Often staff can answer your question within five minutes or less. If your question requires additional research, they can call back, send email, fax or mail a response to you.
You also can call your local library with your questions, or use the Ask A Librarian online service.
With just a phone call, you can:
- Request a book (you also can use FVRL's online Catalog to find a title and reserve a copy by clicking the “Place Hold” button)

- Find out about library services and programs and events
- Ask questions about your library account
- Get quick answers to questions, or submit a research request on a more in-depth subject (you also can submit questions online using FVRL's Ask A Librarian service).
Automated Renewals by Telephone
The library has an automated renewal line that can be accessed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. You can use any touch-tone phone to renew library materials. If no one is waiting for the materials you have checked out, you may renew each item for an additional three weeks.

Relay Service for Deaf or Hearing-Impaired Patrons
