Bookmobile pays a special visit November 14

The Yale Valley Library District in partnership with Fort Vancouver Regional Library will welcome the FVRL Bookmobile to the Yale Christmas Bazaar, Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 10:30am to 2:00pm. The bus will be carrying a wide range of books and Thanksgiving and Christmas ideas. YVLD residents will be able to sign up FVRL library cards, check out books and order special titles. Please join us at the special valley event, shop the bazaar and check out what is new at the library! For more information, call Kathi Wheeler, 360-231-4253.

Citizens who reside in the Yale precinct (northeast of Woodland in Cowlitz County) are eligible, at no charge, for:
About Yale Valley Rural Library District
In May 2003, citizens in the Yale precinct successfully voted to form a partial-county rural library district. Yale Valley Library District contracts with Fort Vancouver Regional Library District for services.

The Yale Valley Rural Library District board is composed of five five-year positions. Current members and their term end dates include:
  • Kathi Wheeler, chair (July 2012)
  • Cynthia McAllister (July 2009)
  • Don Merkle (July 2010)
  • Patricia Joy Stepp (July 2013)
  • Julia Stoll (July 2011)

Our lively book discussions are held on Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Yale School Library, 11842 Lewis River Rd., Ariel, WA.
