  • November 2009 - Discarded Books Auction

    Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRL) hereby gives notice of a public auction (sealed bids only) of its discarded books on Friday, November 20, 2009. 118 boxes of assorted genre books will be available, plus a separate bid for 5 boxes of assorted audio cassettes. No viewing of box contents prior to the auction. All bids must be received, with payment, via regular mail or hand delivery by 3 pm on November 20, 2009 at the FVRL business office, 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98663. FVRL reserves the right to refuse any or all bids. Successful bidders will be contacted by telephone and must pick up boxes between 8 am and 1 pm November 23-27, 2009 at Bldg. 3, Ste. 190, 600 Maritime Dr., Vancouver, WA. Payment will be returned to unsuccessful bidders.
