• Chess for Beginners

  Join us weekly for a fun and interactive chess lesson for beginners. Long-time chess player and host of Vancouver Community Library Chess Club, Don Schlabach, will be teaching basic chess strategies, tactics and ways to improve your game. Bring your own board if you have one.

  Bring your YuGiOh or Magic-the-Gathering cards or play with our board games. We have dice, cards and puzzles, too. ,/br>Special Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament will be held on November 5, 12 and 19. $100 in prizes and no cost to enter. Participants must be 18 years or younger and must show up the first day (November 5) to be in the tournament.
