Book Discussion Kits

FVRL has book discussion kits complete with discussion questions ready for you to check out. You can get a complete list here, or by searching the catalog for “book discussion kit”.

Note that to get the kit, you must place a hold and select the library where you will pick it up. Because of their size and weight, we don't mail book discussion kits.

You can check out a kit for 8 weeks, and renewed it up to 2 times if no one else has a hold waiting for it.

Start Talking!

Book discussion groups are a fun way to meet new people and read a good book at the same time.

Many of our branches host book discussion groups. There are groups for teens, children and parents, and adults. A wide variety of reading interests can be found in our groups.

It's very easy to join. We have a special supply of our book group selections set aside for participants. Just stop by the branch where the event is taking place and pick-up a copy. Then read the book, and show up at the meeting.

We hope to see you at a book discussion soon!
