Branch Manager 2—Vancouver Community Library

Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRL) is seeking an experienced, thoughtful and visionary Branch Manager to provide leadership at Vancouver Community Library, the largest of 15 libraries throughout our district.

The Branch Manager is involved in the day-to-day operations of the branch and serves as the face of the library district in downtown Vancouver, leading and developing a diverse team of nearly seventy employees (58.2 FTE). Branch management, program development, and the ability to build community partnerships are key to this role. The Branch Manager is expected to work closely with other managers, especially colleagues in Clark County in program-sharing, planning and strategy-building.

This opening is due to the retirement of the current Branch Manager, who has been with Vancouver Community Library for over five years and worked for the district for over 34 years.

The compensation for this position begins at $59,114 per year with an excellent benefits package including health insurance, life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment, short term and long term disability benefits, Washington State PERS retirement and paid time off.
