February is here, and that can only mean one thing... it's time for chocolate! Whether Valentine's Day finds you full of love or full of angst, there's nothing like chocolate to make it better. Also, there are lots of fun library programs happening this month, so be sure to check out the "What's Going On?" column.

Your Friend Wants you to Read This

Jimi & Me —Jaime Adoff

Could you imagine if your dad died and you and your mom discovered he had a whole other life that he was hiding from you? Well, that’s the exact situation Keith James finds himself in after the death of his beloved father. He can’t help but think to himself about all the times him and his dad used to always jam out to their favorite singer and song writer Jimi Hendrix. After his death they realized that they didn’t have enough money to pay for their house. Keith’s dad had lied about saving up money for them to keep the house… but that’s not his biggest secret. Keith finds himself lying to his mom and Aunt Bernie just to find out the truth about his dad’s huge secret.

I personally loved this book mainly because it’s an amazing book that will have you on the edge of your seat begging for more. I think this would be a good book to read if you like mysterious yet outrageous books.
