Becoming American

About the Becoming American film series

Becoming American is a six-part series of documentary film screenings and moderated discussions, designed to encourage an informed discussion of immigration issues against the backdrop of our country's immigration history.

Becoming American was created by City Lore in partnership with the Immigration and Ethnic History Society and the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. Major funding for the project has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Find more information on the program at becoming-american.org.

Where is it being held?

The programs are being held at Cascade Park Community Library, one of 32 sites nationwide that were selected to host this program series.
