How can I view Northstar Online Learning tutorials and evaluations in Spanish?

To view tutorials in Spanish and keep track of your progress, you must first set up a learner account online.

  1. Enter your name and email address.
  2. Check “I’m not a robot”.
  3. Select the “Sign up” button.
  4. A message will appear telling you to check your email, so do that next.
  5. You will receive a welcome email containing a large blue box where you can click to join and create a password. Do this next.
  6. Create a password with at least 8 characters, including one uppercase letter, one lowercase, and either a number or special character as instructed.
  7. You will then move to a “Password Reset Complete” notice. Select the blue “Log in” button.
  8. Enter your email address and password to log in.

Now you can change the language displayed to Spanish. Here’s how:

  1. At the top of the page, select the “Profile” icon that looks like a person in a circle.
  2. Select the circle before “Latin American Spanish.”
  3. When the option displays, select the dark gray “Update” button.
  4. The page will reload in Spanish. Select the “Panel” icon that looks like a wide computer monitor to view available lessons and evaluations.

Some topics available in Spanish include:

  • Basic computer skills (i.e., Windows, email, and other basics)
  • Basic software skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Docs)
  • Use of technology in daily life (i.e., telemedicine, and early and primary distance education)
