On a crisp, sunny Saturday morning this fall, budding film makers and their families arrived at the Battle Ground Cinema to watch the premiere of the 2026 Teen 5-Minute Film Festival. Staff from Cascade Park Community Library rolled out a long red carpet in front of Cinema #5 and cheered as teens tried their best red carpet strut on their way in. Once the lights dimmed, the audience watched 15 films ranging from comedy, horror, and drama. The movies were a joy to watch and at the end the audience had the impossible task of choosing their favorites. We loved every minute of the event and can’t wait to see what teens come up with next year!
