Request for Proposals: Intranet Platform Modernization and Staff Portal Solution
Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRL) invites proposals for a modern staff intranet serving approximately 300 employees across multiple locations. SaaS, vendor-hosted, and locally hosted solutions are welcome. The provider will supply implementation, configuration, migration tools and assistance, training, and ongoing support.
The primary objective of this project is to transition from a static, aging intranet to a modern digital staff destination that supports communication, collaboration, information discovery, and employee engagement. The desired solution should provide an intuitive user experience while empowering designated business users and content owners to create, manage, and maintain content without requiring custom software development, specialized technical expertise, or ongoing engineering resources.

Advertisement for Bids: RFID Self-Checkout System Replacement
Pursuant to RCW 39.04.270, Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRL) requests proposals from qualified vendors to replace its RFID self-checkout software and, depending on the selected solution, acquire new self-checkout kiosks for use at 15 library locations. Proposers may offer software for up to 45 existing stations, new self-checkout kiosks with software for up to 45 stations, or a combination. The solution must integrate with SirsiDynix Symphony and allow centralized configuration by FVRL staff. See additional details in the RFP linked below.

Fort Vancouver Regional Library District maintains its Small Works Roster, Consultant Roster and Vendor Roster in the MRSC Rosters online database. Businesses interested in working with FVRL can apply by visiting the MRSC Rosters website at mrscrosters.org, signing up annually, and selecting Fort Vancouver Regional Library District in your application.
In accordance with RCW 39.04.200 and 39.04.152, Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (FVRL) uses MRSC Rosters, a statewide online roster platform for Washington public agencies, to document small works roster contract awards and make award information publicly available.

Prevailing Wage
All public works projects require prevailing wages. If you are selected for an FVRL project, you are required to use the Department of Labor and Industries' online portal to submit your intent and affidavit for payroll. Already registered? You can link to the L&I portal here to get started. Intents and affidavits are required prior to payment. Note: FVRL cannot hire any contractors who have been debarred by the State of Washington.
