Every August, the White Salmon Valley Community Library fills up with cardboard tubes, plastic bottles, pom poms, and kids with big ideas. The goal: build a city out of materials that might otherwise be recycled or thrown away.
As they plan and construct, kids naturally bump into STEAM concepts — why a tower tips, how pieces connect, what makes something move. Whether a kid arrives with a detailed plan or just starts gluing things together, the project has room for all kinds of thinkers and makers.
Join us for fun that’s messy, creative, and a little unpredictable. No blueprints required!
