2026 Community Reads

One Book, Many Communities

What happens when you're reading the same book at the same time as your neighbor? We invite you to find out by reading the 2026 Community Reads book: Tilt by Emma Pattee!

Set in the Pacific Northwest, Tilt follows characters through the aftermath of a devastating Cascadia earthquake. Pattee captures the emotional complexities of survival and connection, self-preservation, and community responsibility.

Whether you've already read Tilt or are discovering it for the first time, Community Reads is an opportunity to gather with fellow readers, engage with a powerful contemporary voice, and take part in a community-wide conversation.

Look for books at your local branch starting April 1.
