3D Printers: How to Use
1. Complete training: Watch the on-demand 3D Design Training Series at home or in the library.
2. Request certification: Use the Request a Meeting with Staff form and select “3D Printer certification.”
3. Use the printer: Once certified, you can print during library hours on a first-come, first-served basis. Call ahead to confirm availability.*
4. Stay with your print until the project is completed: Certified users must remain with the printer while it’s in use.
* For Individuals Under 18 Years Old: Minors (17 and under) must certify with an adult. That adult must be present during printing.
Sewing Machines: How to Use
Community members can access a sewing machine for independent use.
FVRLibraries makes it easy to bring your projects to life with sewing machines available at select locations. Whether you’re mending clothes, learning the basics, or experimenting with new designs, you’ll need to follow a few simple guidelines. Read more about sewing machine use by location to learn more. Sewing machines are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
