FVRLibraries offers a variety of spaces you can reserve for gatherings, study, and community programs. Please review room use policies when reserving a space.

Most meeting and study rooms are free to use and must remain open to the public. For larger private events, the Columbia Room at Vancouver Community Library provides expanded options.

Study Rooms

Designed for individuals or small groups; these study rooms are good for individual or small group work. Please note that privacy and quiet are not guaranteed.

  • First-come, first-served when not in use by library programs

  • Walk-ins or advance reservations (up to 2 weeks ahead); Limit: 2 hours per day

  • Held for 15 minutes past the reserved time

Meeting Room - Public Events Only

When not being used for library programs, the majority of our meeting rooms are available for public use under the following guidelines:

  • Free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis

  • Must be used for meetings, programs, or events open to everyone

  • Not available for private events

  • Available during library hours (some locations also allow limited use before/after hours)

  • Users are responsible for setting up, cleaning up, and returning the room to its original condition

The Columbia Room at Vancouver Community Library

The Columbia Room is available for the public to host public or private events.

The Columbia Room is a large, flexible event space that can accommodate community gatherings, presentations, and special events. It offers more amenities and options than standard library meeting rooms, including limited private use.

  • Available for both community and private events on a fee-based basis

  • Offers a full range of amenities and rental options (link to details/fees)

  • Suitable for meetings, celebrations, and other large-scale events

  • Alcohol permitted with prior approval, proof of insurance, and compliance with state/local regulations
