An Abundance of Baked Goodness to Celebrate Spring

The spring equinox has passed, signaling the end of winter. Many cultures and religions observe spring rituals and festivals, and as with most things, food is part of the celebrations. When we were hunter-gatherers, spring meant that food became more plentiful; supermarkets mean that we don’t have to pick our own berries, but there is still something about spring that inspires baking and sharing sweets and treats. 

I pondered over how to divide up baking cookbooks - product? Region? Newest? I decided to go with a “best of” approach - so for your flour-dusted pleasure, here are some cookbooks to try out:
