Historical Fiction Set in the 20th Century

There is a great website called Fantastic Fiction  that I often use in my writing and my job. You can search an author’s name and pull up a list of everything they have written, by year. It’s especially useful for finding the titles and order of books in a series. You can also search the site by genres - Historical being one of the options.

When I last did a column on historical fiction, I listed the guidelines books in this category must follow, and I gave titles from different time periods. Today I’m sharing titles that take place in the 20th century,
in a variety of decades and locations. It’s by no means an exhaustive list, but these authors are among the most popular who write modern historical novels.
