Art4Art Fundraiser
Art4Art is back for its ninth year!
Every year, the Friends of Vancouver Community Library hands out 8" x 8" wood panels to local artists (that means you!). Once finished creating their panels, artists donate the panels back to the Friends, which in turn are sold in our annual Art4Art fundraiser. Proceeds from the sale go to funding art projects and programming at the library. Revenue from last year’s event was used to purchase books for our district’s Community Reads event and more!
This year, in addition to the art sale, there will be live music and snacks provided by the Friends.
2026 Art4Art Timeline
Starting June 15, artists can begin picking up 8" x 8" blank wood panels at the accounts desk of Vancouver Community Library.
Submissions for Art4Art 2026 must be returned to Vancouver Community Library no later than the end of day on September 15.
Join us in the Columbia Room at Vancouver Community Library on Friday, October 2, from 5:30–7:30pm. Browse art, enjoy live music, and grab snacks provided by the Friends of the Library.
Pricing
In an effort to make art accessible to all regardless of artist notoriety or skill level, all panels are sold for a set price of $30. Buyers may pay with cash or credit card. We encourage buyers to find pieces that are meaningful to them rather than focusing on "known" artists—which is why we ask artists to only sign the back of the panel.
