1. Internet Service Provider Programs

Many internet companies offer discounted service for qualifying customers.
Check with your provider or explore the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) list of low-cost and free internet options.

2. Lifeline

A long-running FCC program that helps make phone and internet service more affordable.

What it provides

• Up to $9.25/month off service for eligible low-income subscribers

• Up to $34.25/month off for households on qualifying Tribal lands

Who qualifies
A household is eligible if it meets one of the following:

• Participates in SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, FPHA, or Veterans Pension/Survivors Benefit

• Has a dependent child in one of the above programs

• Has income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

• Lives on Tribal lands and meets one of the above or participates in BIA General Assistance, Head Start, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution on Indian Reservations
