Celebrating 46 years of original art from across the Gorge!

Artists of the Gorge is an annual juried exhibit celebrating the creativity of Columbia River Gorge artists. Now in its 46th year, the show highlights paintings, drawings, sculpture, fabric art, woodwork, and more—original works that reflect the talent and spirit of our region.

Eligibility & Entry

Each year, artists from across the Columbia River Gorge contribute original works to this juried exhibit. Below you’ll find everything you need to know to prepare and submit your entry. Entry into the competition is free. Submission deadline is Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Awards & Recognition

Each year, Artists of the Gorge honors creativity with both juried and community awards.  The opening reception takes place on Saturday, Oct 4, at 6 pm at Stevenson Community Library. Enjoy live music, refreshments—and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.

The full exhibit runs Oct 6–31 in the library gallery, showcasing original works in every medium.

Jurors’ Choice Awards (announced Oct. 4)

  • 1st Prize: $200
  • 2nd Prize:$150
  • 3rd Prize: $100

People’s Choice Award (announced Nov. 1): $50

2025 Jurors

This year’s exhibit will be judged by three distinguished members of the art community: painter and educator Marilyn Wood Bolles, renowned art collector and curator Huddie Ryland Behrens, and artist and Columbia Gorge Artists League founder Laurel Bushman. Together, they bring decades of experience in creating, curating, and supporting the arts—both locally and beyond.
