Yale Valley Library District

Yale Valley Library District (YVLD) is a partial-county, rural library district, created by a vote of the citizens of the Yale precinct of Cowlitz County in May 2003. It is governed by a board of trustees that meets six times a year.

YVLD contracts with Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries for services, which include the following:

  • A Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries library card
  • Access to the library catalog from home or work
  • Use of Yale Valley Community Library or any of FVRL's 14 other locations, including libraries in Woodland and La Center.
  • Toll-free phone calls to FVRL's Telephone Information Services: 1-800-921-6211
  • Assistance available at your convenience via web form. See our Contact Us page.

Minutes & Information

Information packets are posted prior to each meeting. Meeting minutes are available once they have been approved by the board. Note: minutes are posted in Portable Document Format (PDF), which requires the free Adobe Reader to view.
