Art4Art Fundraiser 2025

Art4Art is back for its eighth year!

Every year, the Friends of Vancouver Community Library hands out 8" x 8" wood panels to local artists (that means you!). Once finished creating their panels, artists donate the panels back to the Friends, which in turn are sold in our annual Art4Art fundraiser. Proceeds from the sale go to funding art projects and programming at the library. Revenue from past events has been used to buy equipment for our Sensory Storytime for neurodivergent preschoolers, books to give away at community events, and more!

This year, in addition to the art sale, there will be live music, and snacks provided by the Friends.

Timeline

Sunday, June 15: Artists can begin picking up blank panels at the accounts desk at Vancouver Community Library.

Monday, September 15: Submissions for Art4Art 2025 close. Panels must be returned to the library by the end of the day.

Friday, October 3: The 2025 Art4Art fundraiser will happen in the Columbia Room of Vancouver Community Library from 5:30–7:30 pm.

How much are the panels sold for?

In an effort to make art accessible to all regardless of artist notoriety or skill level, all panels are sold for a set price of $30. Buyers may pay with cash or credit card and are encouraged to find pieces that are meaningful to them, not by "known" artists, which is why we ask artists to only sign the back of the panel.

We look forward to seeing you in October!
