Frequently asked questions
- Why isn’t the whole area open?
- We are working with several community partners on a long term plan for renovating the space to offer new features and exhibits. We have also relocated some components, which leaves sections unsuitable for play.
- How often do you clean?
- We clean toys and wipe surfaces every night. We have 2 sets of props that we rotate half-way through the day.
- Why is there a capacity limit?
- We have limited the entry point and reduced the size of the space for an upcoming larger renovation. Due to the limited number of exits we must make sure there is a capacity limit in place similar to our meeting room spaces.
- Why are the hours limited?
- Limited hours give staff time to clean and sanitize station features and components thoroughly. We are also working on a plan to offer special programs and Sensory Hours with limited capacity for children or people with disabilities as defined by the ADA.
