Library-Specific Information for Using Meeting Rooms

Each library has some specific details you need to know before using their meeting rooms. Please click on the library name below to see important details about parking, after-hours admittance, and more.

Battle Ground

Technology

  • Using your own equipment? Arrange a time in the space prior to your event to test your computer and our AV equipment (highly recommended).
  • Technical assistance is not available for computer or audio visual troubleshooting during your event.

Kitchenette Use

  • If you're using the refrigerator, the contents must be the same when you leave as when you arrived.
  • If you're using the coffee pot or hot pot, you must supply your own coffee or tea and sugar or creamer.
  • Please provide all of your own plastic ware and paper supplies, and remove all waste for disposal. The library is not responsible for trash removal.

Cascade Park

Technology

  • Using your own equipment? Arrange a time in the space prior to your event to test your computer and our AV equipment (highly recommended).
  • If using a laptop, we have a set of cables and adapters which can be checked out during open hours. (VGA, audio and HDMI cables, VGA adapter for MAC computers)
  • Technical assistance is not available for computer or audio visual troubleshooting during your event.
  • Using our projector? Please ask us to input the code.

Goldendale

After-Hours Use

  • If your event takes place when the library is closed, come to the library before closing to pick up the key. This will provide access to the exterior door, restrooms, and kitchen.
  • Please drop the key in the exterior book drop on Grant Street after you have locked the doors and left the building.

Room Use

  • Plan to use our projector? We recommend you plan for time to test your computer and peripherals with our projector before your event.
  • If you're using a laptop, you can check out a set of cables and adapters (VGA, audio and HDMI) during open hours.

Three Creeks

Check-in

  • Park in any marked parking spot in the lot.
  • Please check in at the staff desk upon arrival, so we can let you into the room.

Room Set-up

  • The room will not be set up for you.
  • Extra tables are in the closet; ask staff at the desk if you need them.
  • Please return the space to the set-up in which you found it.

Vancouver

Parking

  • On weekdays before 6 pm, parking in the library lot is limited to 2 hours.
  • Street parking is metered, and enforced.
  • Longer term parking is available at the City Center Parking garage located one block south of the library at 703 Broadway Street.

Postings and Decorations

  • Balloons are prohibited in the building.
  • Please do not attach or adhere anything to the walls or floor.

Catering

  • Inform your caterer that they can only be in the space for the time you have reserved.
  • Caterers must remove all service items, equipment and trash within your allotted time.
  • No open flames, cooking, or on-site food preparation is allowed.

White Salmon Valley

Room Setup

  • Please return the space to the set-up in which you found it.
  • Store extra chairs and tables in the closet.

After-Hours Access

  • If your event takes place when the library is closed, come to the library before closing to pick up the key. This will provide access to the Gallery from the external entrance, and will open the internal doors to the kitchen, restrooms, and storage area for tables and chairs.

Yale Valley

Room Setup

  • The closet contains tables and chairs.
  • We do not set the room up for you.
  • You do not have to reset the furniture after using it.
  • Please do not attach anything to the walls or windows.

After-Hours Access

  • Because the library is largely open via cardlock, if your event takes place when the library is closed, come to the library before closing and use your library card to gain entrance.
