I discovered May is National Miniature Garden Month. There is something about small things that gives me great joy, and this includes gardens. A small garden may be a necessity if space is limited, but small can be abundant in all spaces, in my opinion.
The library has a not-so-small collection of books about miniature gardens. Terrariums, fairy gardens, dish gardens—this week’s reading list encourages you to create a variety of wee-sized gardens brimming with beauty. In case your gardening capacity falls somewhere between miniature and small, I also recommend using the search terms “small gardens” when looking for titles in the library’s catalog.
